Referees

Field Repair Reset

Field Repair Reset

Want to be a part of the action on the  field? Referees observe robot game matches, track the status of each  match, and assist competitors in understanding the rules of the game.

Field Repair Reset

Led by the Field Supervisor, Field Resetters help keep the pace of match  play by quickly and safely resetting the field after each match. They  are essential to the flow of the event, working closely with the field  team to ensure a consistent and safe competition environment.

Score Keepers & Score Keeper Assistants

Scorekeepers are vital to the technical  and procedural success of each event, managing the scoring system,  entering and displaying scores, and ensuring accurate and timely  communication of results to teams, volunteers, and audience members.

As an Assistant Scorekeeper, you'll help  record and verify Robot Game scores, ensuring teams’ hard work is  captured accurately and fairly. This behind-the-scenes role is perfect  for detail-oriented volunteers who want to contribute to the excitement  of the competition by the playing field!

And many more!

Looking for something low pressure or possibly a bit more involved? Are you a student or adult volunteer?

We've got the position for you!

And it's not just the competition that will need volunteers to run smoothly. We have an entire FIRST-regulation AndyMark competition field that requires full assembly in a matter of hours AND full disassembly in one evening. We need all the help we can get!

So whether you can commit to volunteering all competition long, just part of the competition, or just for field setup or tear-down, we would love it if you volunteer!

Gateway Robotics Challenge: Every Volunteer Counts

At Gateway Robotics Challenge, we strive to bring people together and create a sense of belonging and connection within our communities. The FIRST Volunteer community is a huge part of facilitating that connection through events just like ours!

Thank you for your consideration in volunteering your time and energy to FIRST Robotics in Eastern Missouri!
