The Gateway Robotics Challenge (GRC) is an off-season FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) event held in the St. Louis, Missouri using the previous competition season's game: This year - Reefscape!
This event grants students the opportunity to experience an FRC Competition before the real season kicks into gear in January!
FIRST Robotics is nothing without the support
of our teams' local communities.
So whether you are on a team, were on a team, or are new
to robotics entirely, we'd love to see you on Saturday and
show you what we can do!
Cost participate in the competition is $375 per team.
This event is free to spectate and open to the public!
Volunteers will have meals provided for them.
General Schedule
Friday October 10th - Field Set-Up & Early Team Load-In
Saturday October 11th - Team Load-In & Competition Day
Location
Oakville Senior High School, 5557 Milburn Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63129, United States
The Gateway Robotics Challenge will use the MOST RECENTLY UPDATED 2025 Reefscape Game Rules
except for Team Update 21.
We will be using the following
Regional Ranking point thresholds:
CORAL RP - 5 CORAL scored on each level (If Coopertition is achieved, at least 5 CORAL must be scored on each of 3 levels).
BARGE RP - At least 14 BARGE points are scored
- RULE MODIFICATION CLARIFICATION -
10/3/2025
Additionally, we will be modifying section 6.2 Drive Team
to allow for additional Human Players.
If an alliance has less than 4 Human Players, Student Technician(s) can serve as additional Human Player(s).
The intent of this rule change is to allow each team the ability to load their own robot and still have 1 Human Player per Alliance at the Processor.
